Texas Law Enforcement Raids Seven Businesses, Seizes 70 Illegal Gambling Machines
In mid-May 2025, law enforcement agencies in Marshall and Harrison Counties, Texas, carried out a series of coordinated raids targeting illegal gambling operations.

The initial search took place at the Fina gas station on 1601 W. Grand Ave, Marshall, where police seized 10 illegal gambling machines and illegal THC products.

Following this, seven businesses were raided under search warrants authorized by 71st District Judge Brad Morin.

Wildcat Grocery, Harleton

In total, 70 illegal gambling devices were confiscated.

Methamphetamine was also found during the searches.

Several people were arrested, facing gambling and drug-related charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
The operation was a joint effort involving the Marshall Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Marshal’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office.
Marshall Police Department emphasized the commitment to combating illegal gambling, stating:
“Illegal game rooms will not be tolerated. These establishments pose a threat to public safety, and we will continue to hold those who break the law accountable.”
