  The attack has been linked to notorious ransomware gangs Scattered Spider and ALPHV, known for extorting large sums from major corporations, including a $15 million ransom from Caesars Entertainment.

  A 17-year-old suspect was arrested by the UK’s Regional Organised Crime Unit in Wallsal, West Midlands, following a joint operation with the National Crime Agency and the FBI, assisted by MGM Resorts.
