Illegal Firearms, Drug Distribution, and Cockfighting Ring Busted in Moses Lake, Washington
A coordinated law enforcement operation in Moses Lake has led to the arrest of six individuals involved in drug sales, illegal firearms possession, and a large-scale illegal cockfighting ring.

The Moses Lake Street Crimes Unit (SCU), with help from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Tactical Response Team, executed a search warrant at a property on 10032 Rd N.4 NE.

Originally investigating methamphetamine sales and unlawful firearm possession, officers uncovered a gambling ring involving 71 roosters modified for fighting.

The roosters were equipped with sharp steel gaffs and some were allegedly injected with performance-enhancing substances.

Police seized 7 ounces of heroin, 2 ounces of methamphetamine, six firearms, and $30,000 in cash.

Six suspects (four men, two women), aged between 35 and 75, were arrested and booked into Grant County Jail.
